Senior Computer Learning Center WorkPlan
Volunteers are needed to coach and teach
senior citizens as they begin to learn about computers. The
Senior Computer learning center in Mahopac provides opportunities for
seniors who have never used a computer to learn basic skills at
a safe convenient day time location and at a low cost.
A study done by the Intel Corporation in 1995 discovered that
65% of the seniors interviewed found it easier to learn
computers from another senior. The Intel study indicated that
computers help seniors stay in touch with family and friends and
can be adventurous in many different aspects of their life.
If you are 55 years of age or older and wish
to spend some time in your own computer learning center teaching
or coaching call 845-621-0600.
