The Putnam County Department of Health is Hiring Tobacco Compliance Officers
The Putnam County Department of Health is hiring this summer for Tobacco Compliance Officers to help stop underage sales of nicotine-containing products in the community.
Job Qualifications:
- 17-20 years old
- Non-smoker/ Non-vaper
- Available approximately 2 evenings a month (will work around your schedule)
This is a paid community service-oriented opportunity. The rate is $13.20*/hr. Employment in this program is anonymous. If you are interested, please contact us at 845-808-1390 for more information. Ask for Andrea (ext. 43254) or Lesli (ext. 43236) in the ATUPA Program.
*Please note per NYS Labor Law, Article 19Section 651, New York State minimum wage does not apply to government employees
