The 3rd annual Philipstown Youth Court Graduation proudly celebrated 26 graduates, from Haldane, Putnam Valley, Brewster, Mahopac, and Carmel school districts.  Since 1987, Youth Court training has taken place in Carmel, shaping an incredible youth justice program focused on restorative practices.  This milestone highlights the growth and impact of the Putnam County Youth Court Program, which expanded to Philipstown in 2023 to better serve students in the western part of the county.  Philipstown Youth Court has flourished each year, with membership growing from 19 graduates in its inaugural year to more than 60 active members.  The branch continues to set records in cases heard and community service initiatives, solidifying its role in empowering young leaders.  The success of the Philipstown branch reflects the dedication and passion of its members, marking an exciting chapter in the program’s journey—one that will continue to make a lasting impact.
