NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the County Executive of the County of Putnam at Room #102 of the County Office Building, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512 on the 28^th day of May, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. concerning:

A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND CHAPTER 25 ENTITLED “ARTICLE IV VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK ADVISORY BOARD” (Incorporating suggestions made a Public Hearing) 

Amending the Code of the County of Putnam, as approved and adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on May 5, 2026  by resolution #114, by amending Chapter 25, section 27, entitled “Establishment; purpose”, to provide necessary flexibility to the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park Advisory Board as they provide assistance to the Putnam County Parks Superintendent and Director of Veterans Services in reviewing applications for Row of Honor flag sponsorships, as well as in how they advise on maintaining an active database of names and addresses of Row of Honor sponsors. 

Copies of the Local Law are available at the Office of the Putnam County Legislature, Room 318, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512.
