The Putnam County Department of Motor Vehicles is extremely proud to host Real ID Outreach Saturday on April 26, 2025; at its office located at 1 Geneva Road, Brewster, New York from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm to provide the opportunity to upgrade your license to a Real ID/Enhanced license before the deadline of May 7, 2025. 

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti is holding this event as a convenience to our customers who need to update their license.

Please note that this event is available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!  Please be aware this outreach event is ONLY for Real ID/Enhanced ID upgrades and no other DMV transactions will be processed on this day.  Information on the cost and how to apply for a Real ID/Enhanced ID as well as the link to make the necessary appointment is available at the Putnam County Department of Motor Vehicles Website located at https://putnamcountyny.gov/dmv. 

Starting May 7^th, a REAL ID compliant document will be required to board a flight for travel within the U.S. and to enter certain federal facilities.
