Putnam County Transit Seeking Local Feedback Through Public Transit Survey
Carmel, NY – Putnam County is conducting its first Public Transit System Study since 2013 and is seeking residents' support and input by completing a short public transit survey associated with the Study. The County-wide study will analyze existing fixed routes, paratransit and on-demand services, and will make recommendations for future improvements to services and amenities.
The survey will provide valuable feedback and perspective from riders of the transit system. Members of the general public who would like to share their perspective are also encouraged to complete the survey.
Residents can visit https://bit.ly/putnamtransitsurvey or https://www.putnamcountyny.gov/transportation/ to find the survey online. Paper copies will also be available on all PART buses and at the Putnam County Department of Planning, Development, & Public Transportation office, located at 841 Fair Street, Carmel NY 10512.
