Byrne Announces Remaining ‘Trailblazing with Byrne’ Community Forums
CARMEL, NY - Following the success of the first two installments of this year’s "Trailblazing with Byrne" series, Putnam County Executive Kevin Byrne has announced the remaining schedule of community forums taking place throughout the summer.
The initiative combines Putnam County's beautiful parks and outdoor spaces with Byrne's commitment to accessibility and open government, giving residents an opportunity to speak directly with their County Executive in an informal setting while enjoying some of the county's most scenic locations.
Earlier this month, Byrne hosted forums at Green Chimneys in Patterson and Boscobel House & Gardens in Philipstown, where residents discussed a wide range of topics affecting Putnam County.
"One of the promises I made as County Executive was to remain accessible to the people I serve," said County Executive Kevin Byrne. "These forums have been a great opportunity to hear directly from residents in a relaxed setting while showcasing some of the incredible places that make Putnam County special. Whether you have a question, a concern, or simply want to say hello, I hope you'll join me at one of our remaining stops this summer."
The remaining Trailblazing with Byrne schedule is as follows:
- Monday, July 6 – Leonard Wagner Memorial Town Park, 156 Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley, NY 10579 | 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 29 – Tilly Foster Farm, 100 Route 312, Brewster, NY 10509 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Welcome Message
“Remember that Putnam County is home. Regardless of what may make us different as individuals, it is our respect for each-other as neighbors, our desire to step up and serve, to lend a hand, and leave this beautiful county better off than we found it. That is what makes this place so special. It is with that in mind that we as a county government are here to serve, and will always serve, with a desire to do better.” - Kevin M.
