With the weather improving and Spring just around the corner, we asked our followers on Facebook and Instagram, what is their favorite dog-friendly restaurants in Putnam County.

Here are a few recommendations we received:

Red Rooster Drive In (Brewster, NY)
The iconic Red Rooster Drive-In is a pet-friendly eatery in Brewster, NY that serves old-fashioned burgers and tasty ice cream. Your pup is welcome to join you at one of their many outdoor picnic tables.  A Brewster favorite since 1963.

Cold Spring Depot (Cold Spring, NY)
The Cold Spring Depot is a short walk from the Cold Spring Metro North Train stop. The old train station turned into restaurant is charming with delicious food and is a great hangout for locals and visitors. The large garden and outdoor patio seating is dog friendly.

Opened since May 2021 this American-style eatery proudly serves hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, & ice cream. Aiming to provide high quality food, fast, and with a smile. Plenty of outdoor seating and they have their own puppy menu for your four-legged friend.
