Each month we will want to hear from you on your favorite places to visit (attractions, historical sites, restaurants, shops etc.) and we will highlight them.

1) Brewster Rotary Fall Festival
The Brewster Rotary Fall Festival is a free family event that brings community members, merchants, community organizations, arts, food vendors, local talent and so many more together for a fun-filled day celebrating Brewster. The 2026 Fall Festival event will take place on Saturday, September 26^th from 10 AM – 3 PM (Rain or Shine) on Main Street in the Village.

2) Hudson Valley InterArts
Hudson Valley InterArts is a welcoming space where creativity brings people together. They are meeting place for creating, inspiring, and exchanging artistic expression, and are open to anyone from the community who would benefit from our diverse programming. They offer classes from watercolor painting, to digital music to yoga & pilates.

3) Kent Lakes Farm Market
Kent Lakes Farm Market (KLFM) provides a seasonal community farm stand experience that prides itself on the freshest local produce and the highest quality baked and prepared goods. Open Wednesday – Sunday.

4) Little Cabin’s Farm
Little Cabin’s Farm is a family farm in Carmel, NY raising pasture-raised pigs, cows, sheep, goats and chickens. Woodland-raised, rotationally grazed and fed certified organic grain.

◊ Putnam County Stone Chambers
Are they ancient ceremonial mounds or simple root cellars? Scholars, historians, and locals can’t seem to agree, but one thing is certain, Putnam County’s Stone Chambers are mysterious. Of the 200 or so chambers found in and around the county, all of the sites face East or West, and many align with the Equinox and Solstice sunrises. Some think their architectural construction indicates a Bronze Age technique. Others think they are sites of healing, or portals to ancient knowledge, or even the work of the devil. Whatever they are, they do capture the imagination.
